World Bank approves .2 m grant to Liberia - Jul 3, 2009


World Bank approves .2 million dollars grant to Liberia…
The World Bank has approved .2 million United States dollars additional grant to Liberia.
The grant is intended for emergency infrastructural and agriculture projects respectively.
According to a release, .2 million dollars will be used for emergency infrastructure projects, while 16 million dollars will be used for agriculture.
The World Bank project will also strengthen the Public Works Ministry, and the Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation (LWSC), along with the Monrovia City Corporation.
