Govt. to train new protocol officers…
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has disclosed plan to conduct a six-month training program in protocol and etiquette aimed at enhancing the capacities of government's protocol officers.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, the training program will bring together 40 participants from various government ministries and agencies.
This specialized training program is sponsored by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in collaboration with the Liberian Government.
The exercise, the release quotes will buttress government's efforts in restructuring and building the capacities of civil servants, particularly in protocol services.
The Ministry said those who will complete the training course will be absorbed into government's protocol sections to carryout protocol services of government.
