West Africa Media network to monitor border - Jul 1, 2009


West Africa Media network sets up for cross border activities…
The ECOWAS Commission has set-up a regional media network to report on cross border activities in West Africa.
The media network was considered last Thursday by several media practitioners at a regional summit held in Abidjan, the Ivory Coast.
During the meeting, participants recommended that each country in West Africa constitute a chapter of the media network to access border points.
Liberia was represented at the ECOWAS meeting by LBS Newscaster, Titus Tokpa and Daily Observer, Alfred Chea
