President Sirleaf sends congratulations message to US President…
President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has sent a message of congratulations to the Government and People of the United States of America on the occasion marking the 233rd Independence Anniversary of that country.
In her message to President Barack Obama, the President conveyed heartfelt congratulations and sincerest best wishes on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia.
The Liberian leader further expressed hope that as the people of the United States of America celebrate another milestone in their Nation's History, the bond of friendship and close ties subsisting between the two countries will be cemented as both governments continue to identify new areas of collaborations, combat the threat of International Terrorism and work towards the continuation of the United States invaluable supports and solidarity to Liberia.
President Sirleaf then prayed that the people of the United States will continue to enjoy peace and prosperity under the inspiring leadership of President Barack Obama.
