President sends condolence message to Italy…
President Ellen-Sirleaf has sent a message of condolence to President Giorgio Napolitano, the Government and People of Italy for the tragic train accident which left 13 persons dead and 36 others injured in Tuscan in northern Italy.
According to a Foreign Ministry release, in the message to her Italian counterpart, President Sirleaf extended deepest condolences to President Napolitano, the Government and People of Italy, particularly the bereaved family on behalf of the Government and People of Liberia.
The Liberian leader then expressed regret over the irreparable loss sustained by that sisterly country, and prayed that God will grant the Italian President and People comfort during the period of national mourning.
