LBS train technicians - Jul 4, 2008


A one day intensive Training Workshop for more than twenty-five Technicians of the Liberia Broadcasting System took place yesterday on the Compound of the System.

The Workshop was aimed at sharpening the skills of the Technicians to properly manage the systems new equipment provided by the Chinese Government.

Speaking at the start of the workshop, LBS Director General, Charles Snetter said, the technicians have a vital role to play in the transform of the System.

Mr. Snetter said, LBS will shortly cover ninety percent of the country to disseminate professional information to the larger society.

Also speaking, LBS Director General for Administration, Albert Samukai, urged the Technicians to work in the interest of National Development.

Mr. Samukai challenged the Technicians to work cooperatively with Management in transforming the system.
