Stop child labor says Senator Momo
Gbarpolu County Senator, Theodore Momo says using children as breadwinners for their families is counter productive as it will rob them of their future.
Senator Momo said, although there are financial problems faced by Liberian parents and guardians; that should not cause them to depend on the children to take care of the home.
The Gbarpolu County Senior Senator noted that the act, which serves as a gross violation on the fundamental rights of the African Child, must be dealt with, if parents and guardians want a brighter future for their children.
Senator Momo was speaking Friday through his Special Assistant Emmanuel Nyenteah at programs marking the 8th Gala Anniversary of the Paynesville Central Academy Annex one.
